Here In this post, we will be discussing, How to create-react-app on window or Linux through NPM(Node Package Manager). Don’t worry about it, it not a very difficult task to create a new app in Windows or Linux. I will be explaining to you how to create new react app in few steps:-

1) If you are a complete beginner, and you don’t have npm installed on your computer then you have to first install the npm into your windows or Linux.
You can download npm from the given link
: https://nodejs.org/en/download/ and for more details about it, you can visit https://nodejs.org/.

Now you can check whether you have installed it correctly or not, To check the version of create-react-app. Open your command line in your computer give the following command.

Create-react-app --version

Note: –version in the command line is used to check the version of any package installed on the computer.

If you have successfully installed a create-react-app , open built a new react app with your custom name by giving the following command on your command line.

Create-react-app custom_app_name

It will be created at the current set path of the command line. By default, it saves into user/user_name/ in windows and On Linux, by default, it stores to the home folder.

It will take some time to create a fresh or new react app on your computer.
When the whole process gets over, It time to test your first react app on your computer.
Type the following command to move the path to a newly created folder.

cd react_app_name

Now last command to test your first react app :

 npm start

Hurre, Finally we have created our first react app, your screen will have some message like this:

Note: If you want to see the changes on the main screen, Then you can change the code inside the index.html file inside the folder, which will directly put up the new changes to your screen.
